The Leadership Award recognizes young leaders who excel in empowering people through inspirational, committed, and honest interactions of the highest quality. Let us know how this nominee has been a leader in what they do.
Was there a specific situation or time period that they demonstrated clear leadership?
What skills and behaviours does the nominee exhibit in their role or workplace?
How does this individual support others around them to grow and become leaders as well?
Please demonstrate how this candidate adheres to the credit union values, perseveres in the face of adversity, and applies leadership skills outside and inside of the credit union.
**NOTE: a nominee for this award does not need to be in a formal leadership role. Anyone can be a leader, regardless of role**
Community Involvement Award:
This award recognizes young leaders in the Credit Union system that have demonstrated an unyielding dedication to their communities (people and places).
Through various volunteer efforts, community outreach or inclusion of others, the nominee is a testament to our collective concern for all of the communities where we live, work and enjoy.
Please tell us how this nominee adheres to the credit union values by making an impactful difference in their community OR share the impact this nominee has had on important social issues such as diversity and inclusion, equality and economic growth.
Member Impact Award:
As credit union people, members are the center of everything we do! This award recognizes young leaders who have made a meaningful difference for a member of their credit union. Through their genuine and sincere interactions, they have made a lasting impression and significant impact in the life of their member.
Please demonstrate how this candidate delivers credit union values by making a positive impact on a credit union member(s) circumstances. Tell us as much as you can, as confidentially as you can of course.
Feel free to get creative here – this nominee doesn’t have to be in a public facing role!
Innovation & Collaboration Award (NEW FORMAT/CRITERIA):
This year, we are trying something a little different (or…innovative if you will).
We are asking you, our brilliant credit union young leaders, to take a brainstorming mindset and apply it to a credit union obstacle. We asked our SK CU CEO/Manager community for some examples of problems that credit unions or the CU system are facing. Also, you may be spotting an obstacle in your own world that you would like to address instead.
Be bold and creative. All the things are on the table!
